Due to the increased number of large grant requests, the Barberton Community Foundation has no remaining funding available for Responsive or Strategic Collaboration grants for 2016. Foundation Facilitated still has $30,000 remaining. This bucket is purposeful and intended to launch community driven initiatives supporting transformational change to benefit Barberton residents, hence the remaining dollars available in that bucket. The intent of the strategic granting is to be more focused on granting and impact. Any potential grants from the Foundation Facilitated bucket, must follow the guidelines by submitting an online abstract. For additional information, please visit our website or call our offices.
Due to monies being expended out of the responsive and strategic collaboration buckets, we will not be accepting grants for the fourth quarter of 2016. Recognizing the need in Barberton, the Foundation is offering a free workshop for its grantees to provide capacity building and to assist them in their efforts to raise additional support for their programs and projects.
The Foundation will be accepting applications for the first quarter of 2017, which will be due by January 3. For more information on grants, please contact Debby Rolland at firstname.lastname@example.org or 330.745.5995.
