This scholarship was stablished in 2008 by Juleen Colombo in memory of her husband, James, who was a Barberton school teacher. This scholarship is for qualifying BHS graduating seniors who plan to major in elementary education.
Established in 2011 by Ken Cox in memory of Marjorie Cox, this fund works improve the quality of life of Barberton residents through financial support of programs and projects for general charitable or educational purposes.
Established in 2016 by Josh and Tara Gordon, this fund assists with funding the Barberton City Schools Gifted and Talented needs for students.
This scholarship is intended for a graduating Barberton High School senior or a resident of the City of Barberton going back to school. Priority will be given to students with a major in special education or related field of study. A previous recipient of this scholarship who is still pursuing secondary education in Special Education may re-apply for future years.
This fund works to provide funding in response to food insecurity, community health, or additional services needed to alleviate hardships suffered by Barberton residents in an emergency.
