The Tuscora Park Health & Wellness Foundation (TPHWF) was created in 1996 via the merger of the original Barberton Citizens Hospital Foundation and the Barberton Citizens Hospital Auxiliary, which had long histories of improving the quality of health care in our area. TPHWF is a private and independent philanthropic organization that provides grants to charitable organizations that share our mission to provide health and wellness opportunities for citizens of Barberton and surrounding communities.

BCF Awards 1st Quarter Grants

Grants Address Barberton’s Most Pressing Needs

Barberton, OH (February 24, 2016) – Barberton Community Foundation (BCF), an organization that has been committed to improving the quality of life for Barberton residents, announces its first quarter grants. BCF awarded $76,000 to five organizations upon its board of directors’ approval at the February 16, 2017 meeting.

Applications for the next quarterly grant cycle are due by April 3rd, 2017. Additionally, the Foundation’s Small Grant Program accepts applications monthly for grants up to $1,000, due the Last Friday of every month. More information is available at
