BCF Announces 2016 2nd Quarter Grants


Foundation Grants More Than $33,000 in Second Quarter

Barberton, OH (June 10, 2016) – Barberton Community Foundation (BCF), an organization that has been committed to improving the quality of life for Barberton residents, announces its second quarter grants. BCF awarded $33,500 to seven non-profit organizations upon its board of directors’ approval at the May 19, 2016 meeting. This quarter’s largest grant was to City of Barberton for the 26th Annual Barberton Mum Festival – Art in the Park, a tribute to Barberton’s 125th Birthday.

Applications for the next quarterly grant cycle are due by Friday, July 1, 2016. Additionally, the Foundation’s Small Grant Program accepts applications monthly for grants up to $1,000, due the Last Friday of every month. More information is available at www.barbertoncf.org.
