The Barberton Community Foundation is holding our annual Grantee Workshop on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. This event we have partnered with Grants Plus to bring value to beginner to advanced grant seekers. The seminar includes best practices and topics that are important to today’s grant seekers. Including core competencies that will leave nonprofit grant seekers better equipped to pursue grants strategically and efficiently.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for attending Bike 2 Barberton Day!

The Barberton Historical Society recently rescued this 900 pound solid bronze bell from the bell tower at Moore Memorial United Brethren Church (now Faith Gym) at Lake Anna. The bell was donated to us by Al Horvath who needed to remove it from the church’s bell tower.
Broken and deteriorated the bell is in need of major restoration, which will cost $2950. Please consider making a tax deductible donation to this very worthy restoration project. Checks can be sent to the Barberton Community Foundation at 460 W. Paige Ave, Barberton, Ohio 44203 or by clicking here. Checks should have “Barberton Bell” in the memo line.
The restored bell will be unveiled at our annual Anna Dean Farm Walking Tour on May 28, 2017, where our guests will be able to hear the bell toll for the first time in many, many years.
